Ely ReElected to American Osteopathic Association

 Congratulations to Dr. Thomas L. Ely, Chief Medical Officer, who was recently re-elected to the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). Ely has been a member of AOA since 1980. This year he will serve as chair of the AOA Council on Research and vice chair of the AOA Bureau of Communications. AOA represents more than 70,000 osteopathic physicians (DOs); promotes public health; encourages scientific research; serves as the primary certifying body for DOs; is the accrediting agency for osteopathic medical colleges; and has federal authority to accredit hospitals and other health care facilities.
