These two physicians practice in the newly opened Vanderbilt Center for Women’s Health Clarksville/Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic located at 647 Dunlop Lane, Suite 206 in Medical Office Building One (beside Gateway Medical Center).
Dr. Frank Boehm, board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist, received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University. He completed his residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT and fellowship at City of Hope in Duarte, CA. Dr. Boehm is the Vice-Chairman of the Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and also serves as a clinical professor in the School of Nursing.
Dr. Lavenia Carpenter, board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist, received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis, TN. She completed her residency and fellowship at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Cincinnati, OH. An Assistant Professor in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Vanderbilt University, Dr. Carpenter is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
