Linda Helenthal, RN, TNS, CEN, has been named Director of Emergency Services for Gateway Medical Center. She has over 29 years of continuous emergency management experience and most recently served as Director of Emergency Services at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. She previously led successful endeavors to attain Chest Pain Accreditation and Level II Trauma certification. Helenthal holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in allied health from Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. She received her RN degree from St. Anthony College of Nursing in Rockford, IL. Helenthal is a member of Emergency Nurses Association.
