Scott Pfister, CFO of Gateway Medical Center has been honored with an Outstanding Achievement Award from Community Health Systems, one of the nation's leading systems of general acute-care hospitals. The organization includes Gateway Medical Center and over 120 other hospitals in 29 states. The Outstanding Achievement Award recognizes hospital leaders who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to quality healthcare and operational excellence.

Pfister is grateful for the award and credits both strong leadership and the work of frontline employees throughout the hospital for making the accomplishment possible.
