Gateway Medical Center and Centerstone Community Mental Health Centers, Inc. have joined together to open the area's first Crisis Walk-in Center. The new center is accessible through the Emergency entrance at Gateway Medical Center. The Crisis Walk-in Center includes mobile community outreach or walk-in counseling and referral, and linkage as needed to services such as relationship counseling, specialty groups, psychiatric evaluation, and safe temporary housing. Crisis services are available to anyone who is experiencing an emotional crisis as determined by themselves, a loved one, agency or law enforcement official. Private Insurance, TennCare, Medicaid and Medicare are accepted. Referrals to various treatment facilities will be available as needed. For more information call 931-502-1353.
